Twitter had a lot to say about the achievement.

LeBron has been in the NBA for 20 years at this point. Throughout those 20 seasons, he has managed to win four NBA titles, all while notching numerous records. Overall, he is considered a top 2 player to ever play the game. However, there are some people who would say he is the GOAT. Of course, had LeBron gotten to six titles, he would have had a better case against Michael Jordan. Regardless, James has accomplished a ton throughout his career, which just goes to show how amazing of a player he truly is.

Over the past few weeks, LeBron has been staring down yet another achievement. Of course, we are talking about the scoring record. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar set the scoring record back in 1984. It is a record that has stood for 39 years, and for the most part, no one thought it would be beaten. However, with each passing game, James has shown that this is simply not true. On Tuesday night, he was closer than ever to the record. With 36 points required to break Kareem's tally, James managed to do it in just three quarters.

LeBron Does It

Overall, this was one of the biggest moments of LeBron's entire career. Sure, winning championships in Miami, Cleveland, and Los Angeles was massive, but beating this record is an individual achievement he will simply never forget. It is one of those things that puts him atop the history books, and his record likely won't be beaten for decades. For LeBron, it was a truly special night. Additionally, it was an amazing moment for all of the fans who have supported LeBron since he was in high school.

Subsequently, there were plenty of reactions to the record on Twitter. Fans are more than excited about this record, and the reactions to it all showcase that. Overall, a lot of people were calling James the GOAT, and at this point, it is deserved. Even if you're a Michael Jordan fan, you have to give James his props. Take a look at the tweets below, and give us your take on LeBron's record, in the comments section.
