After dropping his sophomore album ALL-AMERIKKKAN BADA$$ last week, Joey Bada$$ has taken the hot seat on Pitchfork's Over/Under series. For those unfamiliar, the concept involves Joey being presented with a number of topics, which he is to deem either Overrated or Underrated. This episodes topics included country music, Cohiba cigars, casinos, the mannequin challenge, and more. Watch it below.
Joey called country music underrated, revealing that his family plays the genre "religiously," and that the songs generally have "pretty dope messages. While he participated in the mannequin challenge while it was at its height, he now calls it "overrated as fuck."
When asked about cigars, Joey had a strong opinion behind his overrated classification. "I smoke weed. I don't get smoking something just to blow it out or something," he said. "It's just posing and shit. I'm ain't smoking another cigar 'til I make 10 mill."
He also had a pretty hilarious answer about pet tigers. While he was excited by the idea, he's not about to keep a giant cat around. "Once it's past like the Simba stage, like I don't really want it no more," he said.
