New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson was arrested at Rolling Loud music festival in Miami on Sunday for felony resisting arrest with violence and misdemeanor obstruction of a police officer.
According to ESPN, the 23-year old wideout "was fighting with security after being told to leave. He refused to leave and was told by an officer to sit on the ground. He tensed his body and pushed the officer. Anderson was redirected to the ground and continued to fight with police and security."
The Jets released a typical statement in response, saying they are aware of the situation but had no further comment.
"We are aware of the situation," the Jets said in a statement. "This is a pending legal matter and we will have no further comment at this time."
Anderson, who stands 6'3 and 180 lbs, recorded 42 catches for almost 600 yards as an undrafted rookie for the Jets in 2016.
