Lizzo did a "hard launch" of her relationship with Myke Wright at the 2023 Grammys.

Lizzo performed a "hard launch" of her relationship at the 2023 Grammy Awards on Sunday. The Special singer shared a picture of herself with her partner on Instagram afterward. A number of celebrities commented on the picture, including SZA, Lori Harvey, Kehlani, Eric Andre, and more.

Lizzo is currently dating standup comedian Myke Wright, according to Page Six. The two have been romantically linked since 2021. They met back in 2016 when they worked as co-hosts on the MTV series Wonderland. Lizzo first confirmed that the two were in fact dating during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live in 2022. They made their red carpet debut at an event for Lizzo's Amazon Prime Video reality series, Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls.

Lizzo ended up taking home a total of three Grammy awards at the ceremony. She won Record of the Year for her Special single “About Damn Time.” She also won Best Remixed Recording for "About Damn Time (Purple Disco Machine Remix)." Lizzo was also nominated for Album of the Year (Special), Song of the Year (“About Damn Time”), Best Pop Solo Performance (“About Damn Time”), and Best Pop Vocal Album (Special). Lizzo also performed "About Damn Time" on stage at the ceremony. While accepting the award for Record of the Year, Lizzo spoke about the impact Prince had on her.

“When we lost Prince, I decided to dedicate my life to making positive music,” Lizzo said on stage. “This was a time when positive music wasn’t mainstream at that point. I felt very misunderstood … but I stayed true to myself. Because I wanted to make the world a better place, so I had to be that change to make the world a better place.
