In a new Instagram post from his son's mother, Annie Buffins, she shared footage of her home birth and thanked loved ones for their support.

The mother of Fredo Bang's son, Annie Buffins, posted a video of her home birth and thanking those involved. In the clip, you can see Fredo hold Annie's hand and fan her, as well. Moreover, she thanked her wife Sevyn, God, her family, and her midwife and doula Angelina. "An experience I’ll never forget," she wrote. "I’m so grateful I was able to experience both sides, in 2021 with my wife giving birth to our son in the living room and again in 2022 giving birth to our second son in the same spot. Couldn’t have done this without my family, I love y’all so much. Pregnancy was one of the hardest experiences of my life & postpartum has been intense too, but I know God created me for this.

Furthermore, she continued: "Thank you God! WOMEN ARE THEEEEE S**T. Full real and raw uncut home water birth video on our YOUTUBE BeingTheBuffins . Best midwife and doula ever @midwifeangelina @a_baby_consultant_llc," ending her message with a heart emoji. Meanwhile, the 26-year-old rapper recently opened up about his side of the process. “He my child too, being that this is his brother … They gon’ be together for life,” he shared on VladTV. “At the end of the day, that’s my child. I’m always gon’ look over him.

“I feel like they helping me break down my wall and, you know, even like insecurities and self-esteem,” Fredo said of Annie and Sevyn. “A lot of people don’t know I got bad self-esteem problems. They helping me get into an element that I’ve never been in before and more confident in myself … So being that I could see they was already good mothers, when I found out that’s what it was I wasn’t mad about it, you feel me?”

However, Fredo also spoke on how he thought he'd never have kids. “I just, like, ‘Shit, I can’t have any.’ I just be happy, and then when I be away from them, I’m just sad. So I’m still trying to find my balance. I was scared because I’m like, ‘Man, I don’t think I’m mentally prepared to be a father because I’ll be at home and I ain’t doing nothing.’ I just look at a picture and I get sad, you feel me?” Still, come back to HNHH for the latest on Fredo Bang and his fatherhood.

Gabriel Bras Nevares is a staff writer for HotNewHipHop. He joined HNHH while completing his B.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication at The George Washington University in the summer of 2022. Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Gabriel treasures the crossover between his native reggaetón and hip-hop news coverage, such as his review for Bad Bunny’s hometown concert in 2024. But more specifically, he digs for the deeper side of hip-hop conversations, whether that’s the “death” of the genre in 2023, the lyrical and parasocial intricacies of the Kendrick Lamar and Drake battle, or the many moving parts of the Young Thug and YSL RICO case. Beyond engaging and breaking news coverage, Gabriel makes the most out of his concert obsessions, reviewing and recapping festivals like Rolling Loud Miami and Camp Flog Gnaw. He’s also developed a strong editorial voice through album reviews, think-pieces, and interviews with some of the genre’s brightest upstarts and most enduring obscured gems like Homeboy Sandman, Bktherula, Bas, and Devin Malik.
