If you are a sneakerhead with knowledge of sneaker history, you know that the Air Jordan 4 came out in 1989. This was the second shoe that Tinker Hatfield made, and it was a massive success. Overall, this shoe was built upon the foundation that was set by the Air Jordan 3. Although it didn't contain elephant print, it still had the visible Air Max unit. Moreover, it possessed a great and sleek silhouette that Michael Jordan wore with pride out on the court. For years, this shoe has delivered some amazing colorways, and even 34 years later, fans adore it.
Throughout 2023, fans can expect some more fantastic Jordan 4s to hit the market. This is a shoe that fans are constantly clamoring for, so it only makes sense that Jumpman would continue making new offerings. Considering this shoe has been around for a while, one can say that Jumpman has already done everything with this model. However, this isn't necessarily true. They are always trying new things, especially with their latest run of "Canvas" colorways.
Air Jordan 4 Returns
According to Sneakerfiles and @zsneakerheadz, the next canvas Air Jordan 4 will contain a gorgeous olive color scheme. In the Instagram post above, you can see a rendering of what this shoe will look like. Overall, it contains all of the elements you would expect. Firstly, the shoe begins with an all-over canvas upper that is made with an olive hue. Secondly, black and pale vanilla grace the midsole of the shoe. These two tones are placed throughout the upper portion of the sneaker as well. This creates a nice contrast throughout this model, and overall, it seems clear that fans are going to enjoy these.
The Air Jordan 4 is one of those sneakers that is never going to go away. For years, it will remain one of the most popular Jumpman offerings, and this colorway is set to do some serious numbers. As it stands, this shoe is reportedly going to drop during the Holiday season of 2023. However, an official release date has yet to be announced.
