Though he watched his team get smacked last night, Drake has had a successful weekend when it comes to the Gram.
Last night at the Raps-Cavs game, Drake was greeted by another Canadian music hero, Gord Downie, the lead singer of The Tragically Hip. Drake saluted Downie with a bow, before the two of them shared a sincere hug, much to the delight of the Toronto fans. Last May, the 53-year-old rock legend revealed that he had been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor.
Drake commemorated his meeting with Downie with an Instagram post, which he captioned with the title of a popular song by The Tragically Hip.
While he got to meet one of his home nation's greatest rockers, his dad -- Dennis Graham -- was chilling with one of heavy metal's most notorious figures, Marilyn Manson. Drake, of course, had to capture the wonderfully odd pairing on the Gram. Manson -- as Drake notes in the hilarious caption -- has become relevant in hip-hop recently. Last month, renowned jeweler Ben Baller turned a famous image of "The Pale Emperor" into an incredible diamond-encrusted pendant for Lil Uzi Vert.
