Over 25 years in the game, and Snoop Dogg continues to roll out new music like he’s an aspiring artist trying to make a name for himself. Back in May, Snoop treated fans to a new album called Neva Left, which he then followed up with this Summer with songs like “Transition” and “Dis Finna Be A Breeze.” But now, after lending out countless features this Summer, Snoop decides to return to the scene today with another new song of his own called “What Is This?” featuring October London, who he collaborated on Neva Left with “Go On.”
Going in over production from Nottz, the Long Beach veteran delivers some controversial lyrics about whats happening in the game today and how everything has changed from when he first arrived. From rapping about the sexuality of R&B artists to rappers all sounding the same, the veteran emcee seems puzzled by what’s been going on in the game recently, and had to address in this new song.
Meanwhile October London brings the same message on the hook, singing “What is this/ I lot of things don’ change everybody in each others way/ Whats it this? rappers sounding the same / Just to get a little taste of the fame / What is this? R&B ni**as on the down low / Taking Ls, ni**a, what do you know?”
It’s unclear at the moment on where this record will end up or if just something for the fans, but we’re always here for some new Snoop.

Quotable Lyrics:
I’m back like O.J., Players Club
Rappin 4 Tay, Internet going cray
Everyday, R&B niggas on memes because they half-way gay
Slow down, Dogg, you a fool with it
Don’t know if these cats is going to be cool with it
