Future's self-titled album has sold over 500K units since its February release.

Just 24 hours after finding out Kendrick Lamar’s #DAMN went platinum, Future’s self-titled album has gone gold, surpassing 500,000 units sold since its February 17th release.

On Friday, Epic Records took to Twitter to share the news with their followers, tweeting out “📀@1future has earned his FIFTH RIAA Album Award! #FUTURE is now Gold!”

The success of Future can be measured largely in part to his smash hit “Mask Off,” which currently sits top 5 on the charts.

As Epic stated in their tweet, Future now has five RIAA Album Awards, earning gold with 2012’s Pluto, 2014’s Honest, and 2016’s EVOL, while 2015’s DS2 was certified platinum.

Congrats go out to Future, who is currently out on the road right now for his “Nobody’s Safe” Tour (peep dates here).
