Listen to DVSN's new song "Mood," off their upcoming "Morning After" project.

The OVO Sound label made quite the announcement last month when they put up billboards at Toronto's Eaton Center to reveal upcoming albums from Majid Jordan, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Roy Wood$, and DVSN. While none of the projects have yet to receive a concrete release date, we can start to sense that PARTYNEXTDOOR and DVSN maybe right around the corner.

Last month, DVSN shared the official artwork to their forthcoming Morning After project, and later dropped off the album trailer in the process. Now, the duo consisting of singer Daniel Daley and producer Nineteen85, have decided to pick up the promo even more so today by sharing a new single called “Mood,” which they hinted about on Twitter all weekend long.

Over the slow tempo, piano-driven production, Daniel shows off his vocal range & hits the high notes, while addressing relationship issues & making time to make love in the process. “Now I'm gonna make a time to make love/ I’m gonna make a point to just focus on us,” Daniel sings on the hook.

Following up their latest release to “Don’t Choose,” take a listen to their sultry new single & let us know what you think. Record available now on iTunes.

For what’s worth, the song fittingly arrives on September 5th too, the same exact name as their debut album… Sept. 5th. We’ll continue keep you posted on the release of Morning After moving forward though. Stay tuned.

Quotable Lyrics:

You don't wanna fall back
I don't want to fall back tonight
I just want my old baby
You just want to know it's alright
For you to not take it alone
For me not to take care of you
Cause you been taking it all in stride
