Menace calls on Trinidad James & King Chip for the new song "Kyrie."

Remember “Panda”? The smash hit from Brooklyn rapper Desiigner that broke out onto the scene last year? Well it turns out the song’s producer, Menace, is working on an upcoming project that set’s to drop later this year & feature a plethora of random artists. Looking to kick off the campaign, Menace decided to come through today & share a new single called “Kyrie” featuring Trinidad James & King Chip which he had hinted about earlier this week.

Over production from Menace, TJ & Chip bring the title to life & rap about the latest NBA transition that saw Kyrie Irving being sent to the Boston Celtics, just as the song's artwork depicts. Here’s what Menace had to say about the song’s origin:

“It was around the NBA playoffs and the Cavs were playing the Warriors on the big screen in the studio, and Kyrie Irving did a crazy move and Trinidad got the hook from it, saying “I feel like I’m Kyrie you can’t check me.” So I just sat on the the record for a while and two weeks ago I turned on SportsCenter and Kyrie is the talk of the town with his trade to the Celtics. So it was only right I release the record now with all this Kyrie hype.”

Available on iTunes, fans can stream the new collab now & share your thoughts on it (below). Look for more from Menace, including a record with Dave East that didn’t make his album cut, but could see life on Menace’s upcoming project to be on the way. Stay tuned.

Quotable Lyrics:

Check check check you cant check me
Niggas double crossing likes it soccer call ‘em Messi
Multi color money that shit look like a canary
I am not the homie no my nigga we not friendly

- Trinidad James
