ScHoolboy Q accuses Shyne of seeking publicity by trashing "good kid, m.A.A.d. city". Q also calls out Blu for manufacturing beef.

TDE is on the rise, as evidenced by this week’s sales numbers.  Most people in the hip hop community have been extremely supportive of Kendrick Lamar’s first album, and of course as documented, Shyne has been vocal that while he supports K.Dot he thought the album was “trash”.  Lamar’s TDE affiliate, ScHoolboy Q, spoke out on Shyne’s comments and said he is just doing it to stir up buzz for himself.  Q also discussed Blu, another rapper he says is trying to drum up attention by creating beef.

Speaking on Shyne, ScHoolboy Q is clear about how he feels and calls the one time Diddy disciple “weak”, and feels Shyne’s career is done.  "Kendrick sells a bunch of records and has corny niggas like Shyne hating on him.  I'ma keep it real, that nigga [Shyne] is weak. I just keep it real, he's weak and nobody cares. He can't come back.” Q says in an interview with 2DopeBoyz (via HHDX), he continues, “My nigga’s moving units...he can feel like it's trash if he wants to, but my homie is moving units. What's this homie doing? What's he doing? I could care less, really. Honestly, I don't even want to talk about it. Shame on that nigga."

After a perceived sleight on the track “Gangsta In Designer (No Concept)”, rapper Blu took to Twitter to approach ScHoolboy, and Q chalks this up to another rapping looking for exposure through manufactured beef.  “I don’t care about Blu like that, he just jumped into some weird shit, like how is he gonna hit me on Twitter and ask a nigga about a diss record and say the wrong lyric?" Q added, “I'm not worried about niggas like him trying to get some attention but nobody cares...I would never do a record with him."

The best thing to come out of this Shyne dissing GKMC mess is the shout out Kendrick gives him on the absolutely banging “The Jig Is Up (Dump'n)".
