Travion King will spend a year behind bars following his role in a heist that lifted $3 million of jewelry out of Drake's tour bus in Phoenix last September.
TMZ reports that King will be on supervised probation for 5 years following the completion of his sentence. King will serve his time in county jail.
King was apprehended after trespassing on ASU campus in Tempe, at which point the suitcase filled with the stolen jewelry was recovered. He was identified through the use of surveillance footage.
It has been reported that the jewelry belonged to Drake's DJ, Future The Prince. When asked about the heist by paparazzi shortly after the report, Drake said "nobody robbed me."
