As part of an exclusive collaboration, MadeWorn x Roc96 celebrates the 20th anniversary of Jay Z’s debut album, "Reasonable Doubt" with an exclusive apparel collection currently available at Barneys New York.
Each collectible piece combines the L.A.-based label’s vintage-band-merchandise aesthetic with album-inspired graphics from Jay's commemorative clothing label.
Included in the "Reasonable Doubt" collection are wildly expensive tees, sweats and outerwear which range in price from $250 for a shirt to $975 for a bomber jacket.
Roc96's Kareem “Biggs” Burke had this to say about the partnership with Blaine Halvorson's MadeWorn,
“When we got with him and saw what he could bring out from studying Jay, the music, the lifestyle and the movement we created, we thought it was perfect match,” said Burke.
“Emory and myself are part of the curation process, but as far as the design, that’s all in Blaine’s hands.” In a statement, Jay himself added that the “capsule celebrates a time when we were dreamers. It captures that time perfectly.”
