Don Q drops the A Boogie assisted "Protect Ya Patek" video.

Don Q hit the top of the month by dropping Corner Stories: Reloaded. It served as a commercial re-release of his February mixtape. The album came with five new songs. Included in the tracklist was the A Boogie assisted "Protect Ya Patek" which he now delivers the music video for.

Both Don Q and A Boogie have had a successful year, and it with success typically comes some cash as well. The two open up the video at the jewelry store spending lots of cash on a new Patek Phillipe. However, their celebratory splurge ends up resulting in a high-speed car chase. As the two rappers exchange bars, the video cuts back and forth from performance shots to an intense high-speed chase involving three motorcyclists and the Highbridge rappers.

After releasing Corner Stories: Reloaded, the New York rapper dropped the cinematic video for "Oh You Da Plug?" Don Q's music seems to be receiving more complex videos to assist them. This is the second video off the project that has movie-like quality and an intense plot line throughout. Don Q takes his street tales and applies them into creating little mini movies with each. The video for "You Da Plug" had him finessing the plug and "Protect Ya Patek" finds him and A Boogie dodging death.

Don Q grabbed director Gerard Victor for the video, whose resume is diverse. Victor has worked with Wiz Khalifa, Lil Uzi Vert, Meek Mill and more in the past on some their major videos

With the project receiving two videos already, there's clearly an emphasis on making sure Don Q's vision is represented as vividly as his lyrics. The stories of life in the streets have turned into little mafioso movies. With each video he puts out, he's keeps raising the bar for the next.
