John Mayer Covers Drake's "Passionfruit" In Amsterdam

"Passionfruit" is a summery track that works on the dancefloor, with its breezy dancehall pulse, deep house influence, and sampling of legendary Detroit DJ Moodymann. But the More Life single is also one of Drake's finest singing tracks of late, brimming with wistful sincerity. As such, the song has been given an acoustic reimagining by famed singer-songwriter John Mayer. During a show in Amsterdam last night, Mayer performed "Passionfruit" as though it were one of his signature pop ballads. Watch the performance below.
