They don't ask just anyone to perform on the season finale of Saturday Night Live, and NBC surely have no regrets about hiring Chance The Rapper for the job. Chance performed two songs from his critically-acclaimed mixtape Coloring Book, bringing out fellow Chicago rapper Noname (who put out her own project, Telefone, this year), as well as the album's central ballad "Same Drugs," which he sang behind a piano.
Outside of the allotted musical guest segments, Chance appeared in a skit where he channelled the look and energy of Run-DMC, parodying Christmas In Hollis in a hilarious ode to Obama's final holiday in office. Surviving Run-DMC members Rev Run and DMC also showed up for an appearance in the skit.
