With DEADSTAR dropping this month, it comes as no surprise that Smokepurpp's fans are on edge. They can't wait any longer. The Miami native (by way of Chicago), is quickly taking over and not only in Broward County. Purpp has become a Soundcloud staple, and his music has officially blown up all over the U.S. and overseas. His track, "Ski Mask," was even featured on "The Life of Pablo" pop up shop playlist (hence the overload of mentions on Twitter). But he didn't let the recognition get to his head, at least not yet. He actually pushed himself to work harder after that, "I felt good but I felt like I had to go harder."
Purpp's determination knows no limits. He first started out as a producer and when he couldn't get others on his beats, he said, "f**k it," and started rapping on them himself. Then he got Lil Pump on one of his beats. Things got crazy from there. Smokepurpp's life went from surviving the streets of Miami to meeting Gucci Mane. Let's not even start on the millions of Soundcloud listens he has gotten-- and his career is just getting started. Can you imagine what level he'll be on after he drops DEADSTAR?
