10 For 10

Skeme and Pi'erre Bourne join forces for a banger.

"Yo Pi-erre, you wanna come out here?"

Not unlike Metro Boomin's "if young Metro don't trust ya, they gon' shoot ya", Pi'erre Bourne's tag clearly foreshadows the impending arrival of a banger. With "Magnolia" sitting comfortably in the song-of-summer contention, the producer has teamed up with Inglewood rapper Skeme to cook up some fire.

If you're not familiar with Skeme, his recent 1st Notice mixtape is a great starting point. At four songs, it's concise enough to be consumed in one sitting and hot enough to ensure a return trip. Part of the reason the tape has earned a "Very HOTTTT" status is due to "10 For 10," which finds Skeme spitting autotune-drenched bars over an eerie synth arrangement.

With a solid mix of flow, lyricism, and Los Angeles swagger, Skeme continues to carve out his niche as an artist to watch out for. Skeme has previously released several mixtapes, including "Skeme of Things," "Skeme of Things 2," "All-Rapped Up," and "Pistols and Palm Trees." He has collaborated with several West Coast staples, including Black Hippy, The Game, & E-40.

Quotable Lyrics

Holdin' purpp I'm sippin' that Minnesota Viking
Oh I think she like me, 500 for my white tee
Told her she could be my bitch, not my wifey
