The "How Fly" team won't be releasing their anticipated free project today, due to sample clearance problems.

The mixtape game is changing, so it seems. Wiz Khalifa & Curren$y are pushing back the release of their joint mixtape, Live In Concert, because of legal problems.

The project was supposed to drop today (August 9th), however, Spitta took to Twitter to say they want to clear all their samples before releasing the project.

Wiz and Spitta's reluctance to release their free project may be attributed to a recent lawsuit brought upon Mac Miller over a beat he used on his Macadelic mixtape.

Spitta expressed his disappointment over this turn of events, saying, "It sucks that u can get sued for free mixtapes man.... Like I guess I gotta respect it but I aint gotta be quiet about it either man...." He continued to explain, "The rationale of it is that ur making money from performing those free songs so actually they aren't free songs feel me? So they want in..."

Finally he confirmed Live In Concert won't be dropping today:  "We wldnt feel comfortable droppin # LiveInConcert until we get the samples cleared.with how these suits keep poppin up.. Mixtapes ain't safe."

Wiz followed suit, agreeing with his rapping partner via Twitter, "Just As Spitta Said We Gotta Make Surr All The Samples Are Cleared Before We Drop The Tape To Respect The Artists And Publishers We Sampled."

So looks like we'll have to wait an unspecified amount of time for the follow-up to How Fly.  However, the Jet Life general told fans not to worry, the tape will be out soon enough.
