A few weeks ago Jadakiss and Styles P paid a visit to sneaker chain, Social Status' Charlotte location to pick up the "Master" Air Max 1s in honor of Nike's annual "Air Max Day" celebration, but they were turned off by the customer service.
As Styles P explained in a video posted to Jada's instagram account, the Charlotte store manager got nasty with them while refusing to sell them the highly sought after sneakers.
The owner of Social Status, James Whitner, responded to their criticism, telling Sole Collector,
"We got kids outside. The kids camped out back all night," Whitner tells Sole Collector. "The kids are now going crazy 'cause they think we're selling Jadakiss shoes early, and in all actuality we're not. So, one of the people on my team went out and said, 'Listen, we're not selling them any shoes early.'"
The day after their bad experience in Charlotte, the duo posted another video on IG, this time from Social Status' Raleigh location which they said was a much more pleasant experience.
However, Jadakiss still isn't done taking shots at the Charlotte manager. He posted the following tweet today.
After seeing that tweet, Whitner says the Lox are "disrespecting everything that this is built on."
"Kids sleep in the rain and all the elements for these shoes, and we're supposed to grant [celebrities] access for stuff the kids line up for days for? They're disrespecting everything that this is built on."
