As the year presses forward, we seem to be getting closer and closer to T.I. actually releasing his Trouble Man LP by the end of 2012 as he had planned. While visiting LA's KLTA Morning News, Tip talked about his upcoming second novel, and weighed in on all the ruckus at the BET Awards this past weekend.
After receiving such positive feedback, and with fans urging him to write a follow-up, The King of the South decided to write a second book, and found it easier this time around, from RapRadar, "It was actually easier, because I had a starting point." Although he does say that the characters are not based on anyone in his life, "these are entirely fictional characters.”
The fights at the BET Awards have overshadowed the actual awards show itself with Rozay and Jeezy tussling, and Gunplay having a run-in with 50 Cent and his crew. T.I. says at the time he was actually unaware of the fights, “I didn’t even know about the fight."
Simply put, Tip feels this is just another case of ego rearing it's ugly head, and feels that not only in hip hop, but most fights stem from men being unable to control their ego when they feel their pride has been threatened, "Men everywhere, we have huge egos and lots of pride. I don’t know that particular incident personally, but most fights that I hear about, it’s about pride and ego. I can’t speak for every case. I don’t know much about this case.”
T.I.'s anticipated Trouble Man LP is slated for a December 18th release.
