Just about everything went right for LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals last night, as the defending champs handled the Toronto Raptors by the final of 116-105.
LeBron led all scorers with 35 points, including this off-the-backboard alley oop from Kyrie Irving:
And with a 16-point lead late in the third quarter, LeBron had a chance to add another easy two points to his stat sheet but missed a layup which nearly drove him to start hitting the bottle.
If only there was a nice full-bodied red wine available...
“I’m not going to run over our beer lady,” James said. “And she had one, so I took it out of her hand. Not much of a beer guy. If she’d had some red wine I probably definitely would’ve took a sip.”
