Spacejam Bo's "Who Really Love Me?" is a song that has gained traction on SoundCloud, raking up over 60,000 plays in just two weeks time. Bo is a rapper based in Montgomery, Alabama. He was born in 1996, the same year that Space Jam was released, which is why he chose it as his moniker. After a hard childhood which found him in-and-out of shelters, Bo met an aspiring producer who allowed him to bring his written words to life in the studio. It took some time to refine his sound, but eventually he came away with "Who Really Love Me," which has turned out to be a big break for the rapper.
"I just got fed up and wrote this song ‘Who Really Love Me.’ I held the song at first ‘cause it was more like a diary entry. It was everything I lived in my life,” he says via Email. "My intention was never to put the song out, but it went viral. It just spread."
His soulful melodic raps on the song bring to mind other Southern rap artists like Rich Homie Quan or Kevin Gates. The hooks cut through on an emotional level, while the words are equally moving. According to Bo, the aspirational storytelling of the song is indicative of the direction he'll be taking his career.
"Nowadays everybody rapping about jewelry and fast cars and diamonds and stuff normal people don't have,” he says. “I feel like I’m the voice of the streets. That’s what I base my music off of. I base my music off life and what I been through cause I know people went through the same thing I went through."
For now, "Who Really Love Me?" stands to continue its ascent, but we're excited to hear what Bo has next. Let us know what you thin of his new track in the comments below.

Never had a daddy
So mama was my daddy
Lookin’ in my mama face
I know she hate she had me
