Over 2 years after his official debut Mr. Wonderful, Action Bronson has returned with Blue Chips 7000, a spiritual sequel to his beloved mixtape series with Party Supplies. This time around, Bronson has opened the Blue Chips world up to some of his other most trusted collaborators, including executive producer Harry Fraud and loop-master The Alchemist. Official production credits for the project have not yet been released, but "The Choreographer" is certainly one of the most impressive tracks from a production standpoint, and feels like it could have been put together by anyone in the rapper's beatmaker circle. The bright funk of the beat comes through a sample of the short-lived Leo'sSunshipp's 1977 track "I'm Back For More." Rising and descending harmonies underscore Bronson's carefree raps. "The full moon make me loco / Like I sniffed a whole baseline of coco /And I took the speedboat for a joy ride / At one point I was flying baby, no lie / What did I do for a life like this / Ass so fat on my wife like shit /
And your boy got a stomach like Buddha / Chandelier hanging from the ceiling of the cougar."
The slick sample could be partially responsible for the delay in Bronson's album, which he announced in 2016. After expressing frustration with his label for pushbacks on Twitter earlier this year (“Put my motherfuckin album out... Stay independent. For Fucks sake”), Action eventually revealed that clearing the many sample sources on the project played a role in the hold-up. Of course, this wouldn't have been a problem on the previous installments in the Blue Chips series, which were released as free projects -- but it wouldn't have been the same without those yacht rock loops. Let's just say, it was worth the wait.

Quotable Lyrics:
All I do is bump Dru Hill
Damn I should have took the blue pill
It's too real
I sign for two for 22 Mill
Option for the third
You ain't poppin in the crave
We haven't seen you in the streets
See me I'm always in town
You hear me
The Choreographer
