In August, Wifisfuneral released Boy Who Cried Wolf. The mixtape showcased Wifis' dark and dreamy sound over the course of fifteen new records, containing appearances from lesser-known artists like 458 Keez, Dirty Face Smook, Danny, Tower and more. Among them, Cris Dinero appeared on "Weigh !t Out!," and he's joined forces with Wifisfuneral once again for this new cut, "Bruce Wayne." Before you get upset, Wifisfuneral prefaced this new release with the fact that it is a throwaway -- and thus, just accept that's only 1 minute 34 seconds long. Cris Dinero is on the boards, providing light soundscape with chimes falling like glitter over the course of the short record. Wifi, meanwhile, quickly raps about his constant hustle, a work ethic of such proportions that he will always bounce back (no Ls in Wifis' line of vision), before ending on a more morbid note.
The reason for this random record? Wifi took to twitter to let his followers know the reason: "I'm dropping my fav lil throw away song kuz I hit 100k 😇," he wrote, before quickly following through and thanking his fans in the process. Yup, the Florida-bred rapper now has 100,000 followers on twitter.
If this isn't enough music to satisfy your Wifisfuneral needs, check out this "WYA" remix with Ugly God. Wifi starred in our last season of On The Come Up, so get to know him a bit better below. Keep an eye out as we will be launching a brand new season of On The Come Up very, very soon. Last caveat: keep an eye out for Wifi. Among today's tweets, he's also hinted that new music could drop any day, any time, basically, and you just never know: "Keep dem notifications on 😇 less tweets more music and you may never know when it's dropingggggg 💫"
Do what the man says.
