Eric Bellinger has been relatively quiet since he dropped off his Cannabliss EP back in April, but thankfully that has changed in a big way today. Having already highlighted one of his recent political records “Be The Change,” which actually dropped the other day but is only getting its shine today, Eric decided to kick off the work week by dropping off a new remix over SZA’s popular CTRL record “Love Galore” which featured Travis Scott on it. The record serves as the first offering from Eric’s weekly release series “E-Mix Mondays,” which will presumably find him tackling other artists instrumentals every Monday moving forward.
With Ayo n Keyz adding their production touch, Eric shows off his range & soft vocals, while addressing relationship issues in the process. Highlighted by his impressive vocals & laid back vibe, this “Love Galore” remix is another strong addition to Eric’s steady-growing catalogue of records, and just the first of more to come. It follows up another remix of “Love Galore” from another R&B star Khalid, who covered a stripped-down version of the record on his tour bus a couple weeks ago (see here in case you missed it)
Hopefully this weekly release series is leading up to an upcoming project of sorts. Hit play & let us know what you think. Look for another remix to drop next Monday. Stay tuned.
“Everytime I do an E-Mix they get such incredible feedback so I wanted to start giving y’all a new E-Mix each week. What song should I E-Mix for next Monday?” Eric captioned on IG.
Quotable Lyrics:
I said skrt sort on niggas
Skrt skrt on these bitches
Skrt down and they do it for free
Girl you know we wasn't more than a Summer fling
I said farewell I thought you took it well
Told me you wouldn't cry over spilled milk
