Joseph Chilliams drops another tune off of his upcoming album "Henry Church."

Chicago rapper and producer Joseph Chilliams is an up and comer with an promising voice. Chilliams himself is a co-founder alongside Saba of Pivot Gang. The artist has been putting out singles like "Powerpuff" and "B2KK" which has garnered himself attention and also regarded him as a strong voice coming out of Chicago. While his debut project is just around the corner, he drops his latest single "Kale" with some help from Noname as well as Supa Bwe. It's a strong single that leaves a good impression for those who haven't heard of him before. It also serves as a good indicator of what's to come from the artist off his forthcoming album Henry Church.

"Kale" was co-produced by Joseph Chilliams alongside Corey Grindberg. It's a raw track that off the top let's you know this isn't any sort of bubblegum, sugarcoated music. Chilliams starts the track off with "If you always speak from the soul/ that shit ain't gon sell my n*gga," before continuing onto "label after my soul/ you know I ain't gon sell my n*gga." It has a confident attitude off the top that sets the tone for the rest of the song. The song almost serves as an attack on a part of the music industry that urges artists to water down their own art. When Noname's first comes in, her flows and her bars really come unsuspected, delivering arguably the best verse on the track. Supa Bwe's melodic, sing-rap flow is the perfect sprinkle on top to conclude the track.

While Joseph Chilliams latest song hits the internet today, it's exciting to know that he has a whole project ready to drop on August 28th. As previously stated, he is a promising voice in Chicago's music scene so hopefully with the release of this tape, it'll bring his career to a new height.

Quotable Lyrics
The industry don't fuck with me and it's laughable
They wish my music was taxable
Slave to the companies
Labels and luxuries
