In a month's time, Hip-Hop incomer Mike Floss will debut his latest full-length offering Tennesee Daydreams.
For those truly down for the cause, the Nashville emcee has put the new body of work on pre-sale via iTunes and Apple Music, and with an early purchase also comes the arrival of two instant gratification tracks, the previously-featured "Take Yours", and his latest "Sasha."
The son of jazz virtuoso Rod McGaha, Mike's versatility is hard to ignore. Not too many are seamlessly succesful at putting their talents on display in a multitude of ways, but the marching band trumpet player-turned-rapper has plenty of tricks left up his sleeve, and his new "Sasha" cut serves as further testament to the notion.
September 15th, to be exact, will mark the arrival of Tennessee Daydreams, and will come packaged in 11 tracks in total and will precede his performance at New York's Meadows Music and Arts Festival.
Alongside his own flair, producers credited on the upcoming work include the Atlanta-based Ducko McFli, Syk Sense, Mike Ewing, and OGTha3.
"There are very few rap artists that make it out of Nashville and until recently there wasn’t an unified hip hop culture in the city," says Floss. "My friends and I are changing that, brick by brick. I named the project TENNESSEE DAYDREAMS to give the masses a look at what we offer."
Be sure to take a listen to "Sasha," and pre-order Tennessee Daydreams here.
Quotable Lyrics
"Now I came from all of this love
And walked in to all of y'all fakin'
Don't start calling me the plug
Cause I ain't got nothing for you
Ain't got nothing for you
I'm as hard as it come
I promise my heart and my lungs."
