With exception to his feature on Steve Aoki’s Kolony album, MMG rapper Wale has been relatively quiet since he dropped off his SHINE album back in April, but thankfully that changes there today. Out of nowhere, the DC native appears on a new single from New Jersey based producer DJ Sliink called “Saint Laurent” which also features his OWSLA boss Skrillex.
According to the press release, Sliink’s production reminded Wale of D.C.'s Gogo movement, making him want to jump on it. Take a listen & let us know what you think. (Record available now on iTunes)
