Tyler, The Creator drops his most personal project yet.

Since Tyler, The Creator struck mainstream gold with his excellent "Yokers" video, it was clear that an exciting and daring new artist had entered the game. Odd Future quickly became a household name, with Tyler's exuberant, cartoonish character leading the charge. He quickly gained notoriety as a "shock-value" lyricist, offending the sensitive with his brash, tell-it-like-it is manner.

Fast forward to Flower Boy, easily Tyler's most mature album yet. Handling the entirety of the production himself, Tyler reveals what feels like honesty. In the past, his confessional music always had an air of performance, but on "November," Tyler lays all his insecurities on the table: his longevity, his legacy, his insecurities. It's similar to what Eminem did, jumping from Marshall Mathers LP to The Eminem Show.

Quotable Lyrics

What if Clancy fuckin' me over?
What if 'Who Dat Boy' is rhetorical and this shit is over?
What if I'm hustling backwards?
What if my accountant ain't payin' my taxes?
Fillin' his pockets and IRS show up asking me questions
I couldn't answer 'cause I was too busy tryna make classics
