It's been awhile since Justine Skye dropped new music. She's been relatively lowkey on the music side of things (but never absent on Instagram, where she tends to thrive) since releasing her 8 Ounces EP last year. In March of this year, she released the single "Flames," which was rather poorly received on the site. Hopefully her new record wins you over more, with a feature from fellow singer Jeremih, "Back For More."
The record is radio-friendly with feel-good summery vibes as Justine puts her emotions on a wax, dealing with a man that she doesn't really want to deal with. But she does. Take a listen, the record properly hits streaming services at Midnight.
There's more new music on the way from Justine, as she tweeted: "Album done and OTW."
Quotable Lyrics
Pull up, right now
Ain't no need for us to play around
The argues, played out
Broken record, let it fade out
