Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire slides through with the super-lyrical odyssey "Manboy." EXquire proves himself capable of weaving dexterous tongue-twisting rhymes, ripe with detailed imagery and clever punchlines. He absolutely snaps on this one, picking up momentum as the beat goes on, a constant, drumless loop. In fact, the Bowery Beats produced instrumental is sort of underwhelming, and while the minimalist arrangement does create tension, it also tends to stagnate at times.
