D'Armani is a 20-year-old rapper out of Maryland. His new submission "Know Energy," features very minimal drum programming, putting it in the category of more ambient traditionalists like Roc Marciano or Ka. Rather than hiding in the murk of his hazy beats, however, his voice breaks through like a young Mos Def or Q-Tip, and he sounds extremely comfortable, adding a relaxed quality to his often complex flows.
