We first introduced you to rising Toronto singer Layla Hendryx back in February of last year when she released the single “Tell You,” but ever since then she’s been rather quiet. Currently working on an upcoming EP called Pre Paid & having recently signed to Noah “40” Shebib’s publishing company “Alice Island,” Layla decides to return to the scene today and share the project’s first single called “Livin’ It Up” featuring fellow buzzing Toronto artist Pressa, who’s coming off the release of his "Baby Girl" video himself last week.
Check out the Jmak-produced collab & let us know what you think.
Quotable Lyrics:
I don't need nobody else, look me and Jmak did all ourselves
And we be rolling up we aint going down
And we don't need nobody but ourself
Looking at my wrist gon’ make em sad, feel a type of way
I been rollin up in the hills smokin’ on the grape
