Philadelphia's Made in America festival released its 2017 lineup this morning. Jay Z will headline the festival alongside J Cole, and some Twitter users are convinced that this means he is planning to release his 13th studio album sometime around Labor Day Weekend.
Hov hasn't released an album since 2013's Magna Carta Holy Grail, which was a Samsung exclusive. Since then, he's been focused on family, his various business enterprises, and now, under the terms of his partnership with Harvey Weinstein, producing numerous films and documentaries, including docu-series on Kalief Browder and Trayvon Martin.
Jay Z founded Made in America in 2012, so it shouldn't come as any great surprise that he is performing at the festival this year. Does it mean his next album is on the way? Here's what Twitter had to say:
