Born on the East Side district of Scarborough, Anthony Bezel very much a Toronto kid. However, his music isn't as immediately similar to the R&B-infused sounds of his city, but the DNA of the region is present. The dark, minimal feel of the beat fits in among the rest of Toronto's colder production styles, and Bezel steps up to the plate with some precise and deceptively complex flows. "I do what I feel. I say what I feel. It’s something I'm good at, which is making the listener feel like they're me," he writes. "On every song. I'm me. I want them to feel like their me too. I want them to feel like the song is about them. The ability to put down what I feel or see into a rhythmic pattern that People can relate to. I see myself as the best at what I do. A raw MC. A raw, talented MC."
