Indianapolis emcee Mathaius Young just dropped his new album Take The Night Away, and the verdict is in - it's dope. While there are plenty of enjoyable cuts, none of them stood out more than "Fuck," the raunchy, musical odyssey featuring Young's homie Drayco McCoy. This isn't the first time the two rappers have joined forces, and their chemistry is genuine and exciting. I know I would love to see a joint project from these two.
"Fuck" delivers what it promises - elaborate sexcapades and gratuitous lyrics, but it's done over a crazy beat that's sort of reminiscent of the "Salad Fingers" theme music. There are several different sections in this track, and one wonders if there was originally a second title. Still, it's a promising display of camaraderie, and it feels like this duo has a bright future.
