Sticking to the plan, Rita Ora officially returns to the music scene today and releases her new single “Your Song.”
Co-written by Ed Sheehan, Rita had the following to say about the record... “Your Song has everything I wanted to express: it’s a song that’s full of positivity and about feeling on top of the world, like everything is going right and that’s where my life is right now. I loved working with Ed and Steve; it was incredible to really bring this idea to life with some of the most talented songwriters of our time. Ed and I have been friends since our teens, it’s brilliant to have the opportunity to collaborate with him for my first single, we definitely click creatively.”
Take a listen to the uptempo, radio-friendly record & let us know what you think. (Single available on iTunes)
Quotable Lyrics:
I don't want to hear sad songs anymore
I only want to hear love songs
I found my heart up in this place tonight
Don't want to sing mad songs anymore
Only want to sing your song
Cause your song's got me feeling like I'm
I'm in love, I'm in love, I'm in love
Yeah, you know your song's got me feeling like that
