We recently profiled Kent Jones for our Meet the Artist series, as the budding producer-slash-rapper continues to find his footing in this rap game. Kent found himself in the pop spotlight with the success of his single "Don't Mind," (if you wanted more proof of the pop status, check the remix with Lil Wayne and Pitbull-- mainstream darlings), and he's getting a push from the almighty/ever-grateful DJ Khaled, thanks to signing with Khaled's We The Best label.
He dabbled once again in pop-friendly territory with the recent "Counting Stars" single, but his latest leak, "Premaducers," is a bit less pop-y and a bit more grounded, with soulful, sample-driven production.
