Enter "Thunderdeth Lotus."

Flying Lotus has been active for a minute now, and the producer recently shared two brand new tracks. One of them is the sinister "You And Your Friends Are Dead," which in and of itself promises to be a hellish ride. Flylo certainly delivers on that front, kicking things off with a brash guitar riff before exploding into something more aligned with free-form jazz.

The arrangement is heavy on the dissonance, and it seems like Flylo is going for a deliberately uncomfortable vibe here. Melody and harmony are almost nonexistent, but then again, if you and your friends were dead it wouldn't exactly be easy listening, would it?
