It’s been a long time in the making, but Fetty Wap’s forthcoming sophomore album, King Zoo, looks to finally be right around the corner. Earlier this week, the New Jersey sensation took to his social media accounts to announce its first single called “Aye,” which he said was dropping this Friday, and alas here it is sticking to the plan.
Bringing the title to life & referencing the ad-lib “aye” throughout the record, Fetty hops on the minimalistic beat & delivers another one of his usual melodic records that finds him switching up his flow (especially at the end) & boasting about his success and achievements in the process. Take a listen and let us know what you think.
UPDATE: Official music video added (below).
Quotable Lyrics:
17, we ain't playin', aye
15 car garage, aye
Shit still ain't enough, aye
Bank account got the most, aye
I saved bread from the start
