Nicki Minaj officially has more hits than Taylor Swift. As of Wednesday, the Young Money rapper has earned the second-most Hot 100 entries among women, passing Swift in the process. With her feature on Major Lazer's "Run Up," Nicki has now seen 71 songs hit the chart, while Swift currently sits at 70.
Meanwhile, Aretha Franklin still holds the record at 73. With both Nicki and Taylor expected to release albums in the near future, it seems likely that both artists will surpass Franklin's record soon, though they will continue to battle it out among themselves.
"Run Up," which also features PartyNextDoor made its debut at 66 earlier this week. Could it make its way to the top ten in the coming week? We'll have to wait and see.
