Called "the hip-hop voice of Montreal" by i-D, Wasiu has a new track out titled "Daddy Issues" - a title that, , according to the album art, may or may not be a sly nod to Donald Trump's infatuation with his own kin. Rhyming over a suitably bouncy trap beat, the Canadian rapper talks about the first time he ever went to a strip club, where he was in the business of "making it rain for those thunder thighs." His first release since last month's "Snow Mexican", Wasiu is continuing his upwards trajectory and boasts a trio of talented producers on the new record, including his frequent collaborator Dear Lola.
