Shabazz Palaces' afrofuturistic vision of hip-hop continues to blossom in new and unexpected ways. The Seattle based duo has announced its next studio album Quazarz: Born on a Gangster Star and released a new song "Shine a Light" feat. Thaddillac.
Quazarz: Born on a Gangster Star is about a “sentient being from somewhere else” named Quazarz. Ishmael Butler (Palaceer Lazaro) explains:
