You don’t have to be a hip-hop head to know that Kendrick Lamar just dropped off a new album on Friday called DAMN. The highly talked about album, which features Rihanna, U2 & Zacari, has been the topic of most conversations since it was released Thursday night, and probably will continue to be for couple more days & weeks to come. Hell, fans are going so crazy over DAMN. that there’s even a theory online that Kendrick is dropping another album this Sunday (it’s a stretch fam) but people just cant seem to get enough of Cornrow Kenny.
So on that note, we’ve decided to highlight another record for y’all of the helluva it on today’s list called “Element,” which was first premiered by LeBron James Thursday afternoon on his Snapchat. Take a listen to the Kid Capri-assisted lyrical assault and sound off in the comments (below).
Quotable Lyrics:
Thirty millions later, know the feds watchin'
Auntie on my telegram, like, "Be cautious!"
I be hangin' out at Tam's, I be on Stockton
I don't do it for the 'Gram, I do it for Compton
I'm willin' to die for this shit, nigga
I'll take your fuckin' life for this shit, nigga
We ain't goin' back to broke, family sellin' dope
That's why you maney-ass rap niggas better know
