The Young Milkwaukee artist known as BANKX first came onto our radar with last summer's "Alive." As he prepares to release his long-awaited debut project, BANKX has dropped an "Alive" remake, entitled "alive v2." The new track features fresh vocals and brand new production from emw.
BANKX's vocals are hoarse but smoothly delivered, and they reflect those late nights when one's secret emotions start to come out of hiding. The vocals mesh with the dark and stormy beat and are sometimes enveloped in all of the ambient haze. Overall, the revision is a definite improvement on the original. Hopefully BANKX continues down the nocturnal wormhole he has entered on "alive v2."
