Coming off a big Juno win at the Canadian music ceremony for Rap Recording of the Year, Toronto artist Jazz Cartier just landed a deal with Capitol Records. Capitol, as a subsidiary of industry leviathan Universal, will undoubtedly help make the "Hotel Paranoia" rapper ubiquitous in the game. With the drop of his new single "Tempted," Jazz seems poised for a huge year in 2017, especially once the major label benefits kick in. Don't be surprised to see "Tempted" score a massive increase in radio play.
Congratulations to Jazz on scoring the deal, and we look forward to seeing the results. Revisit our OTCU with Jazz here.
