However, JLO did reportedly get something (besides publicity) out of their speculated romance. According to People magazine, Drake purchased a $100,000 necklace for Lopez, which she wore to Drizzy's NYE show at the Hakkasan Las Vegas nightclub. The piece is a 17" diamond strand, which features "over 15 carats worth of round, pear and marquise-shaped diamonds set in platinum."
On the scale of Drake present scale, it's no Ferarri, but it's nothing to scoff at either.
The last we heard, Drake and JLO's well-publicized romance was reported to be a ploy to promote new music. We've yet to hear the collaboration that this was likely all a setup for (though we did get a preview), but perhaps this necklace "report" means its coming this week.
