Night tends to put one in a contemplative mindstate. Derin Falana's new release "Cruising" has that deep nocturnal feel, if is he were driving at 3 AM and grapples with his career, his finances, and other things that have been weighing on his mind.
"Cruising" is produced by Po (at whose house Falana records much of his music) and Jordon Manswell. The first half features the Spitfire Falana we know and love. In the second half, the groove slows down by a factor of two, as do Falana's rhymes.
